Is there a name for this type of hearse design?

As far as I know, no. In the fifties all hearse cars were very styled, but rarely like these ones. There was a museum (ULBRA) in the south of Brazil (nowadays the museum has been dismantled) with many heavily decorated hearse cars, including some in white for children.

Model from the 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design / GMC New Design truck lines, with the 1947-51 twisting door handle and the 1951+ vent widow: a 1951 only model.
Heavily stretched, whatever the basis is: the longest wheelbase for the light-duty models was 137"/3.48 m. Most probably a ½-ton (Chevrolet 3100 / GMC 100) or a ¾-ton (Chevrolet 3600 / GMC 150), as the 1-ton models (3800 / 250) have a higher ground clearance.

Depending on where the scene was shot (Uruguay?), it could be a model built (partially local + CKD parts) in Brazil. Or built as CKD in Argentina?

(IMCDb habits give Chevrolet as default make when it's impossible to identify an Advance-Design model over a New Design one.)
