This is my favourite film of all time!! the Trans Am vs Capri chase is great. cant wait for the pics... the Trans amshould be 5* though no? as it is the main character. theres also: Michael's E-type Jaguar a '57 Chevy as a wedding car Christine Ruben's MGB The Black Panel Van - maybe also a Holden? |

The intro (flight over st. clair beach and landing at larnach's castle), the train station in lower stuart street, the drive up stuart street (filmed from highgate bridge), up until they leave town was all filmed in dunedin - my home town. Reminds me of my childhood, seeing all the old holden and ford cop-cars. Great film, my favorite nz film (close second is "sleeping dogs" which involves the NZ Airforce) |

Shaker Run got an HD release?! About time!  all we need is for Running From the Guns ('87) to have one too, and all the Aussie car chase flicks (that I know of) will have been done justice ETA: That last line was written before I remembered Shaker Run was a New Zealand flick.
