That one took me quite a while... but I got it: It's a Renault Estafette 1000 [R2137] with integral body by Carrosserie Automobile H. Arnault of Garches (Hautes-de-Seine), France. Three units were built for the Pompes Funèbres Générales de Paris. Fun(eral) fact: One of these (maybe even the one shown above) was used for the Funeral of Jean-Paul Sartre in 1980. As always - once you know what you have been looking for, it's rather easy to find more about it. But it's still "Arnault", not "Arnaud". |
