Certainly one of the most notorious scenes involving an Imperial is featured in this movie. Doris day, attempting to elude her husband (James Garner), drives the Imperial into a car wash. She accidentally hits the top switch (mounted incorrectly on the pod housing the heater controls) which results in lowering the top, with obvious results.

Why? The car is not destroyed, it's cleanable and dryable.

The scene is maybe the earliest, G-Rated (surely G-Rated, it's a Doris Day-movie) "Wet T-Shirt Car Wash". :D
