In Brazil, this Scania has the popular nickname "Jacaré" (Alligator), inspired specially when the hood of this truck was opened. Then it's comprehensive some kids are afraid of. ![]() |

1959 Scania-Vabis started production of diesel engines in São Paulo. The next year complete trucks were produced there. Since 1962 they moved to São Bernardo do Campo (SP). So this Scania will be built in Brazil. |

Actually still have a lot of these orange-red Scanias 110 and 111 in operation on the Brazilian highways! This truck has a reputation of durability in Brazil. |

B is usualy used on buses when its used as the first letter in a Scania modell name, so B110 looks like a litle strange name for this truck. |
