antp ◊ 2006-07-01 18:37	Proton is from Malaysia. It is the group that owns Lotus now, but the Proton cars are not well known here in Europe. In Belgium they tried to sell them in the 90s, but it did not work very well, and they are quite rare here I think. There was the Proton Wira (one of those that was sold here) that I know because it was featured in the game "Network Q RAC Rally", and the Proton Satria in "DTM/Toca Race Driver" The one on the picture above is a much older model than those that I saw here, I guess that in UK these cars sold better; like another Malaysian car, the Perodua Kelisa. -- Last edit: 2006-07-01 18:43:15
