Faked plate, a mixture between the old and the new police-combination. In the past, up to 2007, mostly numbers from 3000 up were used, but with the code of the town or county, so here, in Essen, it would have been E-3043 (unlike the civil plates, without other letters). Since 2007 they have the country code, as here NRW for Nordrhein-Westfalen, but with the combination NRW 4-xxxx for own and 5-xxxx for leasing cars. Last week I saw NRW 4-4444 on a civil Mercedes C-Klasse. |
