1. Checker started it's production in 1923 2. For me this not a Checker, but a 1925-1926 Yellow Cab Brougham Taxicab Model 0-4 from Yellow Cab factory from Chicago. The differences are: other door hinge on the back door (autre clinche de porte ovale) and a lower back fender with typical Yellow Cab décoration -- Last edit: 2006-06-23 21:42:18 |

Calling these taxis 'Checker' started with Pilou's comment here: /vehicle_11831-Checker-Taxicab-Model-H-1922.html That film was from 1923. Could you have a look at all those labelled 'Checker...'? |
