Must be much newer than 1953. I think it's a mixture of a Brasilian Fusca (small side window, but big windscreen) with a European (or Mexican) door (big window, sloping shape of the quarterlight)... |

The base is for sure something Brazilian, due the back side window. @carobserver: the German origin Käfer had the plain metal dashboard up to the mid-70ies (at the basic 1200 "Sparkäfer), at the others it was just plated with more and more plastic parts, but underneath still the metal-sheet. The 1303 (1973+ Super Beetle in the USA) had an own specific, plastic made dahsboard. To identify by the salient tachometer. |

It is "OVAL" 1953-57 style dashboard. Door is changed 1965-66 style Rear side window is small 1949-64 style. Steering wheel is 1960-74 style. I can't understand Brasilian Fusca. |
