It is the M26 'Pershing', built by Fisher (Grand Blanc Tank Arsenal) and later also by Chrysler (Detroit Tank Arsenal). Production ran from November 1944 to June 1945. Some were used in Okinawa in May 1945. |

At the time the original film was taken (as in, during the war) this would have been a T26E3. It was only later they were officially standardized as M26. |
