also called Le Car in France? |

No. But I'm not sure, if there was some use of the "LeCar"-sticker for a special model. I remember, that I've seen that in the 80ies somewhere. Maybe it was just the owner, who has bought the US-stickers. |

There was definitely a Le Car special edition in the UK. I don't know about France though. |

Indeed in Europe there was a Le Car trim, but nothing to do with the US Le Car |

There was also a "LeCar Van", a special version made by Heuliez which mimics some US vans of that era: http://www.renault-5.net/heuliez.htm But why this one is listed as "LeCar"? Is that special trim actually visible here? -- Last edit: 2010-11-24 22:06:36 |

'LeCar' here could be some sticker tunning because this car has any part of 'LeCar' limited edition equipment: http://www.renault-5.net/versionlc.htm It looks like ordinary, repainted 1982+ 5 TL or 1983-1984 5 base/L. -- Last edit: 2011-02-05 22:40:04 |
