1962 Plymouth Fury |

Why the examples I find for 1962 Fury Convertible get three rear lights per side ( example 1 and example 2) and this only gets two? |

I cannot find anything to support a Belvedere Convertible was offered for 1962. According to the website... http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/gallery.html It doesnt list a Belvedere convertble until 1965. Neither does the NADA gudie for classic cars. Furys did had triple tailights and Savoys/Belvederes had dual tailights. I have to assume this is some kind of early Fury model. |

You are correct HWJOE, tripple tailights were a mid-season addition to the Fury line (as well as other trim changes to the Fury and Sport Fury). -- Last edit: 2010-10-09 00:37:08 |

As I recalled reading an article in Collectible Automobile, they were talking about three minor changes throughout this model year... -- Last edit: 2012-03-15 01:03:40 |

Not all Sport Furys had 3 rear lights. The third light was an option. |
