The plastic front fascia was used from 1978-81. 1977 models still had exposed bumpers. Early '78 models, however, still used the older dashboard. It must have been a midyear change (for the worse, imo) The hood scoop and fender vent were the Z-28 pieces used on 1978 and 1979 models. The 80/81 Z had a different style fender vent and a different style hood scoop with a rear air inlet and a solenoid that would open it. |

This is actually a 1979 Chevrolet Camaro. This car is my dad's car and he is still owning it. I have everything to prove it. Unfortunatelly, the car has been sitting since 2007 due to my birth. The car has been placed in a garage and it is at the exact same place today. I know that you guys will probably won't be seeing this message since the last one is from 2006 but, at least I tried something. |

There was 2 different cars in the movie. One got destroyed by the explosion in the movie and the other one was my dad's car. The car that got destroyed was the exact clone of the original car. |
