..Both cars are seen separately ...could you not get different pics.? A lot of the shots are unfortunately very blurred because of the speed of the cars..... Where I can improve on the pictures I will. -- Last edit: 2006-04-07 11:44:13 |

The grille of the white one looks like it might be from an MG. As for the red one, I'll take a guess here: http://www.gasolinealleyantiques.com/images/Racers/267-760.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-04-07 01:14:10 |

MG doesn't have the divider in the grill and the shape of the car is wrong. |

It follows the tramway tracks .Must be a periculous exrecise.Fortunately it did not rain that day but the tires were probably ripped open after the race ! |

Car Number 16 on the right has its own listing now. Not a Mercedes-Benz by the way ... smaller and without the side vents. |

Then they must not have been around long enough for Americans like myself to see them(even used), because Fiats have been consistently the least relaible imports in the United States. That's why they haven't been sold in America since around 1979/80, and the only model that was, went under another name before it fizzled out around 1984. Yeah, I doubted it was a Mercedes-Benz myself. But the center of the grille didn't look enough like an Alfa-Romeo, and it doesn't look enough like a Ferrari or Maserati to me. -- Last edit: 2006-04-24 14:45:05 |
