1967 Dodge Monaco (or Polara?)

I think it's a '68 Polara, because the third letter is right in the middle under the trunk opener.
(How is this thing called in English, I don't know....?)

I disagree - the letter isn't directly in the middle.

It's definitely a 1967 Dodge Monaco Station Wagon.

The English term you are looking for is "Boot release" - in UK English or "Trunk release" in US English. ;)

One of my favourite models, the 1967 Monaco/Polara, even more so as 2d HT.

The letters on the back door are "D O D G E" letters!

This car is a 1966 Dodge Monaco station wagon; my parents owned the one that was used in the Charlotte scenes. The producers of Speedway rented our car because it was less expensive than transporting the Monaco they had used in California to North Carolina.

And fwiw, that Monaco was a piece of crap!
