That color alone is a dead giveaway that it's indeed a 1979. This is Medium Green Metallic (44), and it's a 1979-only shade and code for that color name, which was offered for multiple years but looked different each time (GM liked to keep things confusing). This color was offered for pretty much all GM passenger cars for that year.
