Hannibal and Face stole this car from a valet to escape from Decker, and had about a 2 minute chase scene. Probably 3 stars. |

it is an 83...the rims are a part of a special edition called a Recaro. its a Recaro as seen by the large square headrests when you first see Face and Hannibal get into it... and the 1982 recaro had dark brown seats, and the 1983 had light tan like KITT's this is a 1983 recaro -- Last edit: 2007-06-25 19:24:06 |

A really nice 1983 Recaro Trans Am. Those 15" ALUMINIUM WHEELS were available on the 1983 Trans Am too. The 1983 Trans Am & Recrao Edition models had a bird decal along the hood scoop like those ones mentioned here. The 1983 Recaro Editions came only in black & gold with the Recaro Seats in light Tan or beige with leather in the seating areas and headrests and you could see the Recaro logo on the door handle. So yes it was not so much different visually from a regular black & gold 1983 Trans Am. -- Last edit: 2009-07-31 16:58:32 |

coincidently, the main pic is from the A-team and the pic i put up there from hardcastle and mccormick are probably the exact same car since both shows were made by stephen j. cannall. -- Last edit: 2010-10-29 09:11:16 |

I heard some rumors, which say the chase was ''copied'' from knight Rider. It would be the scene where michial knight has to escape from the cops, can anyone confirm this? |
