The 1948/50 grille was identical, while it changed dramatically between 1951 and 1952. |

A Ford American LaFrance? |

I thought that "American LaFrance" was a make, not a Ford model |

American LaFrance is an emergency equipment manufacturer, Ford would be the Chassis Manufacturer |

American LaFrance built complete fire engines on their own chassis. This can be a Ford up to 1952. It is impossible to tell which year exactly from this photo. It is equally impossible to tell who made it into a fire engine, since in those years this was often done by the individual fire brigades. They would purchase a chassis and cab from Ford and kit it out with their own fire-fighting gear. |

1951 or 1952 Ford F6. That whole corner by the headlight would've been smooth on the 48-50 and the headlights farther inward. |
