I drove in 2005 Skoda's Superbs (1.8T, 1.9 TDI and 2.8 versions) - Czech VW Passat Lang ![]() The best impression gave me 2.8 V6 in cheap Prestige+ trim, with standard 205/60-15 wheels, basic prime equipment only (automatic air conditioning, electric front windows, centralised door locking, black velur seats). With one extra thing: 5-speed automatic transmission ZF Tiptronic. It was unpretending (medium grey metalic), silent & comfortable gran tourer sedan, quite good driver's car, very competent on a road, with only little understeer and minor front wheel forces feel sometimes on steering wheel. With suprisingly good economy when drive fast & fluently. |
