While this was designed by Chrysler it was actually a Lamborghini concept car (during the time that Chrysler owned Lamborghini)

There was only one built and it is still owned by Chrysler, The car featured Scissor doors (typical for Lamborghinis) front and rear (the rear doors opened toward the back) The Drivers door is opened in this screenshot.

Chryslers LH platform got much of its styling from this concept.

This night scene was cut for the TV airing but was featured on the DVD. That Scene only shows how politician Townsend calls Mister Strand to close down the Viper project. The reason for the cut might be that Episode 1 and 2 were split on television and they had to cut this scene for reducing running time. However that scene was not important for driving the story.

Wiki says the only Portofino was damaged in transit and restored by Chrysler(Which now owns the car)Chassis number LC0001
