F-550 Super Duty models were only available as a cab & chassis unit and were for commercial use. This truck is of a far lesser work grade, an ¾ ton class truck for sure. |

If I remember correctly, the red F-550 Super Duty was featured in a 4-wheel-drive magazine (Peterson’s 4-wheel and Off-Road or Four Wheeler) and told that the owner fitted a pickup box on the back. It was custom built. |

Its newer than that. LED clearance lane departure/turning indicators were added to the telescoping tow mirrors for the 2003 model year. |
