The regular Escalade and Escalade ESV SUVs of this generation had switched to a more car-like all-wheel-drive system with no off road low range gearing. I do not know if this Escalade EXT pickup variant received the same neutering or if Cadillac actually gave it a proper 4-wheel-drive system with 2-speed transfer gearbox. |

To my knowledge, it had the same AWD system. Although, I doubt these would have seen much off road use anyway... more of a showpiece vehicle. |
