1928 is definitely pre-Lilpop era, but I guess it was made in the assembly plant at the Wolska street (Buildings of Elibor)? GM opened it in 1928 - the year fits. |

You're right .gif ";)") Elibor w latach 1926-27 prowadził montaż Fordów T oraz TT, ale zamiast planowanych 5 tysięcy sztuk rocznie, do lata 1927 roku wyprodukowano ledwie 350. W 1928 roku budynki na Wolskiej wynajęło GMC i tam też, do 1931 roku odbywał się montaż osobowych i ciężarowych Chevroletów. |

To bardzo ciekawe, że ktoś wogóle montował Fordy T. .gif ":)") W książce A.M. Rostockiego "Historia starych samochodów", jest tylko wzmianka, że w połowie roku 1927 była przymiarka do montażu modelu T w Gdyni, ale w końcu nic z tego nie wyszło. Jednak to publikacja z 1981 - może poprostu jeszcze nie dotarli wówczas to takich informacji. |

O montażu Fordów przeczytałem w książce "Automobilizm w Warszawie do roku 1939" którą A.Rostocki napisał z J.Tarczyńskim (rok wydania 1988), więc w początkach lat 80-tych faktycznie te informacje mogły być nieznane. |

This is definitely not a Chevrolet. It has four bolt demountable wheels and has the fuel filler in the cowl. Might be a Nash but not sure yet. |

I think back then I rather said that only because the film is Polish, but looking back it seems relatively likely due to the four lug wheels and molding over the rear fender. -- Last edit: 2022-08-16 23:20:12 |
