I guess I'll add the Renault. Saab is already listed and so is Volvo. |

Dunno what makes it look fake, but it's set in France, filmed in Canada. Go figure. :P |

Was it called 5 LeCar in CDN? |

Just Renault 5 in Canada. |

Are you sure? I remember my first stay in CDN in 1988, there the (very few) Renault 5 had the "LeCar"-sticker and my Canadian friends have it called "LeCar", too. "Renault 5" or, as usual in Germany, "R 5" was uncommon. -- Last edit: 2009-07-05 18:37:14 |

Maybe it was only in Quebec actually... For sure there they were sold as Renault 5, some even had "La Cinq" stickers like the "LeCar" stickers of US models. So outside Quebec it would still be LeCar? |

No, I've been in Vancouver (where the "Frenchies" aren't very well-liked). |

Well I mean that "5" was only in Quebec. If you saw lots of "LeCar" it confirms that outside Quebec it was "LeCar" like in USA. |

Did the U.S get the 5-door 5? |

5-doors were available from 1981-83 in the US. Not sure about Canada. |
