This is pre-1990 model per the taillight lenses and back door with no vinyl trim. CHMSL indicates 1986 at the earliest. If 1986, then Fleetwood Brougham If 1987-89, then Brougham But there is no visual way to tell them apart other than badges, so it's anyone's guess. |

Then here's why my guess is post 1990. This car has rightly pre-1990 tail light lenses, agreed. However this car has the post 1990 bumper with reflectors. Now there's a question of what has been replaced along the line of this cars life. My bet is on the lenses rather than the bumper. The little plaque that we can se under the Cadillac emblem on the trunk is not centered under the emblem but put half-way to the right of center - this tells us its a 5.7 Liter emblem. The 5.7 liter engine was offered for no other years during this models lifespan but 1990-1992. The 5.7 liter engine was standard for the coach-built Broughams for 90-92. As for the vinyl-trim on the back-doors. This car as we can see is obviously not a standard Brougham, it is coach-built (and looks like shit). Part of the Cadillac Coachbuilder Package for the 1990-1992 Brougham was the deletion of vinyl on back doors as well as the deletion of stripes on the trunk and bodysides. |

If it does have the 5.7 liter embelem, then it probably would be a 1990 model, with (for some reason) replacement taillight lenses from a pre-1990. |
