Yes, they are 100% fake. Interesting with the two-tone colour paintwork though  |

I guess, the paintwork is not original. The cars in this movies were loaned from several clubs and collectors. |

P.S. Sure, definetely all plates here are fakes. The makers have looked very much on the authenticy, so they had made even the original number-combinations from that times, if they were known. I've seen pics from the "making of", when the police-cars (owned by a police-car-collector's club) got the movie-plates. |

The story begins at the 2nd June of 1967: /vehicle_191489-Heinkel-Tourist.html -this scene is absolute authentic, car, scooter, license-plate and even the position of the vehicles and the persons are exactly made. The main story is set in the autumn of 1977. Also that scenes, the kidnapping of Hanns-Martin Schleyer were exactly re-made. Even at the original location! Randomly nothing much was changed there, so they could use the original street without many changes. I haven't seen the movie, but it could be, that the scenes in Sweden were set in 1975, when the German embassy in Stockholm was attacked by terrorists. |
