I HATE them for bouncing around on that Edsel. I used to have a 1959 Edsel Ranger 2 Door Sedan. It was a big boat, but I loved it. My dad sold it to the scrapman $75 last fall. It was my first car. He gave it to me when he had a stroke in 2005. I was 14. |

Bit young for a car at that age, weren't you? Although in some US states it seems they do let kids drive. |

Yes, I was a bit young but I never got to drive it. He gave it to me, but I only got it running when I was 17. Then he sold it. I was devastated when we got rid of it. |

If he gave it to you, why did he sell it? |

Even though I held the keys to it and worked on it, it was still in his name. In Pennsylvania, a minor cannot hold the title to a car. And I of course was a minor at 17. I almost got a 1958 Corsair about a year ago, but that fell through. I still have my daily driver 1966 Mustang, and I just bought a 1983 Audi Quattro. |
