1980 at the earliest. The 1978/79's still looked like the 1973's. |

Sweet, thanks. And I am guessing it is a F-700 or maybe a F-800, but not as likely because it isn't as big. But you can tell it is way close to the white F-700 seen on the bridge. |

No, actually they did have the square headlights in 1980... on both the light-duty AND medium-duty F-Series Fords. Of course, they also put them on the light-duty ones in 1978 and 1979, before they downsized the pickups and redesinged the medium-duty F-Series, so that it could easily be distinguished from the light-duty F-series trucks. |

The earliest Ford I know had those square lights was back in 1983. And it's still a 1982 because it looks old. |
