It has enough long rear doors to be a 300 SEL [W 109], possibly even a 300 SEL 6.3. It also have shiny A-pillars (only on the [W 109]). Painted in DB 906 (GER: Graublau = ENG: Grey Blue) http://sterntwiete.mparschau.de/html/906_3.html . -- Last edit: 2025-11-23 21:55:35 |

Models possible: - 1966 - 70 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL - 1968 - 72 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 (- 1970 - 72 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 3.5) or - 1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 4.5 Comments: This is for sure a Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL. Some other models are also possible, but they are still versions of the 300 SEL. The 300 SEL 4.5 was a special version for the U.S./Canada market and the 300 SEL 3.5 was sold on markets that weren't that heavily on gas emissions. However, some cars might have found their way to odd places even if they weren't intended to be there in the first place. That is as the film was made 20 years after the end of the production of the W 109 series, and they are still rather desirable. |
