Chromed strip beneath the window. That means it's at least a 190 [W 121] (and not any of the 180 [W 120] variants), but it could also be a 219 [W 105]. Unless no further captures will come to light and because of the numbers built, I'd say this is more likely a Mercedes-Benz 190 [W 121] (171.746 built) rather than a Mercedes-Benz 219 [W 105] (27.845 built). |

At closer inspection, I see it has quarter lights in the rear doors. Those were not available on neither the [W 120/121] nor the [W 105] models. Instead this is one of the following models: - the 1954-56 Mercedes-Benz 220 a [W 180] (25.937 built), - the 1956-59 Mercedes-Benz 220 S [W 180] (55.279 built) or - the 1958-60 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE [W 128] (1.974 built). |
