The reason why is these were mainly developed for emerging markets like South Africa as shown, including here in Indonesia, and they were never sold for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). In fact, I could sworn that, at the time when the Go and Go+ were first launched alongside Datsun's revival, these would've been unable to pass Japan's safety and emission regulations, even as captive imports. I chose India because it is where the relaunch of the Datsun brand first takes place, not to mentioned they were also assembled in that said country.
