This one looks like a rare RX-3 SP, which I think was introduced in 1977. Late in the run, Mazda decided to try to make the RX-3 a sporty car and introduced this package with special stripes and spoilers. I see the stripes, but it is missing the front spoiler. Nice find, but rather something self-made in my opinion, the decals do not match. They are similar, but the middle section consists of three lines rather than RX-3 SP script. The bottom decal also goes above the recess and not under it. It also lacks the shuttered side-window (called 'sjalusi' in Norwegian). |
