What is the Mexican version of 'Break'? |

We don't have any name on the Mexican wagons, though I see the term "Guayin" used for them. But I've also seen "Break" and "Familiar". Later versions use the name "12 Routier", which I think was to separate them from the older DINA built versions. I don't speak Spanish, but I did find a video about the history of Renault in Mexico in the 1970's, if somebody wants to watch and tell us what it says: https://youtu.be/4Uul5fQSUcQ?si=yJaf8LZW7snuNDvR I think this is an older one, with the rectangular headlights. Seems the newer ones had quad round sealed-beam headlights. Here is an ad for the DINA built Renaults of 1974: https://flic.kr/p/brM6RX -- Last edit: 2025-05-17 18:14:51 |
