Looking at this site: http://www.halifax.ca/fire/HalifaxRegionalFireEmergencyApparatus.html it looks like they number the trucks by the year. The 82 in "82-26E" refers to the truck being a 1982 model. Ok it has a King Fire Apparatus body but I still haven't figured out who made the cab and/or chassis. It would be in here: http://www.firetruckarchive.ca/companies/king8085.htm ...and right here it lists one of them from the above list as just being a "King-Seagrave": http://www.scfdtn.org/images/Trucks%201.jpg So this should be listed as "1982 Seagrave" with "King Fire Apparatus body" in the comment code I guess. This is actually the same cab as the to the "Seagrave Invader" model but with a bigger engine compartment and different headlights, but lets not get into that again, this wouldn't have been marketed under the Invader model name anyway. -- Last edit: 2008-11-08 07:55:19 |
