According to Sandies comment, the year should be changed to 1998. If you look closely, you can see a second Lexus LS parked behind the Rover 75 here: /vehicle_722904-Rover-75-R40-1999.html Since Lexus has no connection to either Jaguar, Land Rover or BMW/Rover, could these two similar cars, which are obviously placed in a more background position than other cars in that scene, be just simply rental cars? |

I was wrong, the 1998-2000 LS didn't have the indicator in the bumper. I guess they used these rims on the last of the older model (or this is an older one with these rims fitted by the owner). |

Yes, that is what happened apparently. Starting in August 1996, the 1997 model year LS 400 adopted these wheels (last minute addition). The changes made for the UCF20 II, were mostly designed in 1995 and fully signed-off by February 1996, ahead of introduction in the 3rd quarter of 1997 for MY 1998. |
