I thought so - but I'm not used to seeing the plate in that location so I wondered if it could have been something else.

I think it is a Model Y 4-door, and deserves [*][*].

From a comment on Reelstreets "Buxton remembers devising a plan while driving to Woodford" this is his car also partly seen during the burnt caravan scene.

I am having trouble with the image posted by Sunbar as Ford Model Y Fordor. The main image seems fine as a Y, however.

There appears to be a bright metal edging on the running board. The flare at the end of the back wings is not present, the spare wheel is mounted too low and finally the hole in the centre of the wire wheels looks too big. I did wonder if it was a Morris Ten-Four.

To be fair, we are not supposed to think the car seen in main is his. We get this inserted shot of traffic passing by and then it cuts to the interior view of his car.
When such a scene is usually filmed, the camera tracks the car or we get a separate shot of the car entering the shot prior. Moreover, the car in main is clearly 2-door in my opinion.
