I think it's a Jaguar 420G 1966+, but I'm not sure about the ratio; it might be a 420. |

I can't help but lean towards the Daimler for some reason. |

I don't think there was never a Daimler version of either the 420 (successor to the original S-type) or the 420G (derived from the Mk.X). |

The 1966-1969 Daimler Sovereign was based on the Jaguar 420: http://www.car-nection.com/jagbase/jag420.htm (I only know this because I saw one recently) |

The thumbnail shows this car has a round grille on each side of the front grille, something that the Jaguar 420 and the Daimler Sovereign have with a rectangular shape. So, it could be a Mk.X or a 420, but some details identify it as a 1962+ Mk.X: it lacks the side chrome trim and the front wing indicator repeater and its front grille doesn't have the vertical chrome trim in the middle of it. |

A piece of advice, please. I intend to do the film now. And for the first time, to post pics I'll have up-size, from 504x303 to 660x397. Would it be a good idea? One example with this frame chosen by vilero: |

Something here to tag it "Made for CH"? |

Not that I can see. Lights look just like UK. And the plate is a fake .... |

Merci. (Not really a fake, it is just a tag given by the car dealer for the cars in his showroom, like for the fake E-Type 4.2 here /vehicle_749745-Jaguar-E-Type-1961.html .) -- Last edit: 2014-10-19 06:37:39 |
