I don't think so! If this is a US film, there is NO way this is an `86 M3. The US M3 came out in `88. |

I thought it was a Hong Kong movie ![]() |

I don't think an `86 M3 existed anywhere period. In the US it came out in `88. Europe may have been `87. |

I believe you are an idiot. you do realize that Wikipedia can be edited correct? which can reflect inaccurate information. which in this case was true. the first "M3" was manufactured in 1988. you obviously know very little about the E30 heritage. stop posting incorrect information on the internet. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=66153 - straight from the horses mouth. dont trust wikipedia. it will just make you lok like an unintelligent asshole. -- Last edit: 2007-02-06 00:38:21 |

By the way, your article says "The original M3 made it over to the United States 1988"... I believe that the M3 was actually launched in 1986 in Germany, though I do not know year for China/Japan (as this movie was made there). Do not trust that only USA market exists, it will just make you look like... ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-02-06 00:41:40 |

i believe i used one politically incorrect word. i am sorry. but when someone posts inaccurate information to try to rectify an incorrect post he made, that is just wrong. |

if you were to pay attention to what side of the car the drivers seat was on, that would point out that the car infact is not the M3 that was released in Germany. That is infact a us spec M3. sorry for pointing out the obvious. |

I think all M3 [E30] were LHD - most/all those sold in UK were LHD, apart from possibly a handful of a later special edition (Ravaglia??) which may have been converted in UK to RHD with BMW approval but not by BMW themselves. |

Race scine in Japan... Real M3? M3 replica? |
◊ 2011-01-12 14:43 |
Real M3. Maybe an ex-Auto Tech or Hitotsuyama Racing chassis ? About the year, it's hard to pinpoint one because BMW Motorsport built racing M3's for a few years. |

Since June 1987 in Japan. This would be a 1991 model that was used until 1993 in the races in Japan. -- Last edit: 2019-02-22 10:25:09 |
