For sure it has the wider radiator grille which makes it a 1960-61. The lack of overriders is also correct for those years. Because of these changes those models are usually referred to as the "b" version. Then [W 120] (180 b or 180 Db) or [W 121] (190 b or 190 Db)? The only visible difference between those models I know of is the is the chromed side strip just below the side windows. That goes all the way round, beneath the rear window, to the other side. W 120 without that strip: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/76/Mercedes_180_2_v_sst.jpg W 121 with that strip: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" I cannot see such a strip which makes me believe it's a [W 120]. Because of the Taxi sign, it is much more likely to be a Diesel version than a petrol. Conclusion: I believe this is a 1960-61 Mercedes-Benz 180 Db Taxi [W 120]. |
