and this confirms it

Quote Founded in 1968, EUROCOSMEC has built over 5,000 forklifts in its Montichiari plant. The production, composed exclusively of diesel forklifts, was distributed mainly at a national level with a greater diffusion in the regions of northern Italy. In 1998 the last trolley was produced in the Montichiari plant and, at the beginning of the 2000s, EUROCOSMEC began a fruitful collaboration with the Chinese company EP Equipment which created, on commission, a line of electronic and diesel trolleys which, now in the third series, it makes up the current range

Indeed

Eurocosmec wrote

[...] In 1998 the last forklift was assembled in the Montichiari plant and, at the beginning of the 2000s, EUROCOSMEC began a profitable cooperation with Chinese manufacturer EP Equipment, who realizes on commission a range of battery electric and diesel forklifts, nowadays in their third generation, which compose the current model range.

From this, it seems that the forklifts are an Italian design of EUROCOSMEC and the Chinese EP Equipment assembles them as a contractor manufacturer  so origin Italy and built in China?

to me this looks like they outsourced chinese supplied ones and just put their stickers on them

so this italian company is essentially an importer
