That's really strange, Italian wikipedia says that, after they folded in 2003, production of Italjet (in Italy) only restarted in November 2020, and looks like they only make the new Dragster: https://www.italjet.com/it It seems they belong to KSR Group now, same owner of Malaguti, Lambretta, Brixton and Niu, who distributes them in selected European countries: Link to "motospia.it" So, if there was no production in the 2003-2020 period (aside from a few concepts that never reached the market), maybe that was some kind of use of the brand by some other entity, likely Chinese? I'm pretty sure in Italy we never had such scooters (which indeed seems a blatant Vespa copy) and I'm finding pratically zero information about it. |
