Aus built Landies from 1950, but before 1958 had 4 different teritorial assembly plants, each locally managed and distributed, and some incorporating their own distinctive tweaks. Things settled down in 1958 when S2 arrived, production centralised, and no more local eccentricities.

dsl ◊ 2023-09-10 03:36	I assumed an Aus episode, and plate looks a bit Aus-ish. But happy if it's not. However NNW 75 was Leeds, Oct-Dec 49 and this is Aug 53+ 86" or later - may even be a June 56+ 88" although not pushing that strongly here.
dsl ◊ 2023-09-11 00:30	Merged - ep11.14, 00:05:16, 3 Was listed as Unknown model, Soft top, but everything in shot looks identical, and tops were easily detachable by design.
