actualy, going by the text on the link you provided, this baby goes down 1950-53, and without the Utility in the name; until 1949 the grille was flat; in April 1950 changed to a sharper peak in the center, with five horizontal bars. In 1954 the number of bars was reduced to three. In 1955 the Station Wagon became "Utility Wagon" The grille on this photo clearly shows 5 horizontal bars (if you look at the images on the link you gave, they obviously count the top and bottom bar framing the grille as 2 of the 5), evenly spaced, and a split windshield... though it appears someone decided to move the wipers to the top of the windshield, the old mounting points are still visible -- Last edit: 2008-06-25 18:02:48 |
