the front recalls a GAZ 420, a pre-war model ; ZIL seemed to have mastered the technique of rear windows (ZIL 118), and Skoda also comes to mind. It appears to be an ambulance transformed into a cell van... nothing found at TAM ...mystery!  -- Last edit: 2023-07-22 19:58:07 |

That's a locally-built Fiat Campagnola by Zastava, with what looks like a local coachwork body used perhaps by the law enforcement to catch some petty criminals (that's just an assumption based on those bars behind the windows). It seems that there were plenty of different bodies used on these jeeps : /vehicle_740884-Zastava-AR-55-1955.html /vehicle_1197621-Zastava-AR-55-NBH.html https://www.tractorfan.nl/picture/1524033/ But is it AR 51 or AR 55? |
