What? No such year range as Buicks changed appearance every year back then (1951 and 1952 being the most similar of these). The car is clearly a 1949, only year for the slab-sided fenders. And Super due to 3 portholes. |

@Lateef - the general body shape was the same from 1949-52. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Super. Read the 1949-52 section |

Oh yes, Wikipedia says it so that makes it true! But to answer it seriously, the 1949s have unique body panels (and hood) that aren't interchangeable with those of the 1950-52s in addition to a completely different greenhouse. And 1949, 1950 and 1951/52 have different windshields so there's that. You are better off forgetting about year ranges when it comes to most 1950s cars as there are several details that give away the specific year. -- Last edit: 2023-07-12 01:03:27 |

I agree especially if one can see (in my case) the front or the rear. And yes Wiki is not 100% accurate |

From this angle the 1949 Buick actually looks virtually more similar to the 1954 and 1955 Buicks than any of the Buicks of 1950-53. |
