/vehicle_869080-MG-Magnette-ZA-1954.html Here is a nice clear picture of an MG Magnette ZA. Look at the sills on the subject picture, this is a Wolseley 4/44 or 15/50 with a fibreglass bonnet and grille aperture/front panel. |

KHS 176 was Renfrewshire Jan-Nov 56 - unfortunately 4/44 became 15/50 in June 56, although with a low number it's probably earlier than June so late 4/44 if Wolseley. But straight bumper was Magnette - both Wolseleys had V-bumpers. My guess is more Magnette than Wolseley, but it's more a case of deciding how much bodgery has happened and where. |

I don’t agree with dsl’s conclusion. The Wolseley bodies, had deeper, rolled over sills which I think are visible in the subject picture, the MG bodies didn’t, having a lower build generally and less pronounced sills. Unfortunately the wheels aren’t clearly visible either. |

OK - entered as Wolseley. |
