I have this car's plate down as WLD 973.

That is a 58/59 London plate, too late for an E series Vauxhall which died in 1957.

I think it’s a Wyvern, no overriders.

A 58/59 plate would be too late for the movie, too, since it came out in 1954. Would VLD make more sense?

It might be M, or N, indicating 51/52.

LD and LO were both London C C, and roughly kept pace with each other.

Its a Velox by the bright rear screen surround, the Wyvern was plain black rubber. The rear over-riders were not fitted as standard on the early fluted bumpers.
