June 1953 to November 1954 London registration 'allocated in blocks' however the O-type supposedly ended in March 1953 with A-type introduction, so either a late one supplied as a chassis cowl or I'm thinking a re-registered rebuilt example (even maybe the longer OB or OWB chassis perhaps). Some interesting attempts to seal between the extended cab and the scuttle and both oval and rectangular Bedford badges missing from the grille. A similar extended cab seen before on what could be a Bedford but I cannot find it currently. |

Some similarities with this (earlier?) cab here /vehicle_769257-Bedford-WLG-1936.html |

Quite common to have this type of cab on a luton van. Would tend to think this is a late O Series not a re-registered one , maybe at body builders for a long time before registration. Link to "www.flickr.com" -- Last edit: 2023-06-06 00:47:13 |
