First peek at it in action looks pretty good, let's hope the rest of the chase is the same. -- Last edit: 2008-07-01 02:09:48 |

Spares in case if any wrecks, and maybe for different stunts. Not sure exactly. |

I would say three stars, because Bond uses it only in the chase-scene. |

Yeah, but the Bond Car is what the film make it so famous (and the true thing why i watched the film ^^) |

But the car is used for a total of 12 minutes or less. That is 3 stars..besides..it was used for more in casino Royale, and it was still given 3 stars It was just the opening chase sene We dont give cars 4 stars in any other bond chase scenes, do we? |

This is an absolutely incredible Aston Martin, even if it is only an overhyped DB9. What I found quite astonishing and couldn't bear to think of is the fact that they wrecked 6 of the exotics. 6!!!!!!!! That's over a million dollars of the budget spent just on the cars! The one they drove into the lake was actually sold for more than the price that it was originally bought for. |

Answering to MBSL65fan: SIX. 6 Aston Martins were acquired for this movie. On the previous "Casino Royale" they got three of them - and all of them were destroyed. To end the story with sunk DBS...car, valued at £120,000 ($235K), was completely smashed. Later on one of fans, offered about £200,000 for the wrecked car. Madness ... it is more surprising if we reveal that this particular car never appeared on any movie scene... -- Last edit: 2011-09-21 22:55:44 |

Actually, for those saying they used 6 DBSs, I read in a Top Gear magazine that they used 12 of them, and all of them got destroyed. |

Oh yeah guys, I don't think they spend anything on this car. This movie is the last in Ford's three movie deal starting with Die Another Day. So ta-da! Ford gave them free Astons. And that explains the other new Fords (at that time) in the movie. |
