It's a Standard Ten, the Eight didn't have the trim on the grille. |

I wonderd if this could be an Eight with aftermarket grille.... The Ten had 'only' the upper half of the chrome grille, its grille was a bit wider and the indicators were placed higher.  |

I daresay that dealers may have offered some sort of aftermarket grille to spruce up the very plain front end on the eight. |

That grille looks odd compared with the contemporary advertising I've just been looking at. I'm happy to agree that it's an 8. |
